PROTOTYPE WEB&APP IDEA XD

Between the diffrent apps to use to help build your web and app I think form now on I will test different ones to see what make what look and feel better as an over all look. During this time I have looked into different interfaces to see what I could do what and what couldn’t. After looking through them I came down to liking (XD DESIGN) & (WORDPRESS), althought we had different websites to help create out website I felt like I would like to go back to WordPress as I enjoyed it last time. Since looking into Xd I have came out liking the app that has made my work look and feel more professional and approachable .
The difference between the app and web
The web is a selling point to get people to look at the app and get to know bit about it with many images showing what it would look like.It also introduces the app to a new audience by not outing the streets promoting it as its passed on web server site to approach since many people use phones and the web daily .
The app is the real thing with all its gadgets and activities as the web will only promotes it but the app layout is different to the web as layout,Hamberger icon and screen size .I have placed he app to be a iPhone size as its only an app for phones and tablets .
WORKING ON MARVELAPP.
Before I even used XD I wanted to look into marvel since at the time It was available to look into for your app design.When going into it I was hoping of a clear and lovely outcome to my app that would look presentable and here are the images which just show how horrible that app is MY THOUGHT AND VIEW ONLY.
When coming into marvel I had high expectations that the final app pages would come out lovely and presentable but as you can see they look horrible and a poor quality of apple icons ,that I have typed to use.After looking into the marvel app I decided to use XD and the outcomes for this are truly amazing ,I had lovely layout of an iPhone,clear iPhone icons and when you zoom up they are not blurry and an easy axcesable app.
Over all I’m glad that I had used XD because this app was really good easy to use and so much cleaner to work on, where marvel app to me is really horrible and the only few iPhone icons available where XD has all. I would not recommend MARVEL APP my self if you want nice and real looking PSD images ,I would only recommend it if you are doing small work as when zoomed into (for me) caused bury icons and I didn’t feel this wasn’t presentable for an app .
Marvel is a A prototype site as it was really bad and caused errors to me but I will learn from the mistakes that I have done and will use XD a nice Responsive Design for my website .

Live Site -means diffrently to a development site or a staging site where people are just setting it up or trying improvements.During my web design my web has gone live but I understand what it means as it where I can improve on part of my website.

User experience design encompasses traditional human–computer interaction (HCI) design and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.
The roles –UX Designer Responsibilities include: Conducting user research and testing. Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs. Collaborating with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software.
Methods-A user interview is a most used user research technique used typically to get qualitative information from existing users. User interview helps UX designer better understand their users (user’semotion and opinions). This technique is especially useful when the target audience is new or unknown for the team.
Usability testing– is a method of testing the functionality of a website, app, or other digital product by looking into real users as they attempt to complete tasks on it.
Mobile first/Touch based interfaces
mobile first ? Mobile first design is a design that says when you create a website or app, you should start drawing and using prototyping on the smallest screen first and then work your way up to larger screens.
Offers you to move up scales when you have stated on drawing and prototype on a small screen to a large screen .
touch screen is a display screen on a cpomputer that is also an input device. The screens are sensitive to pressure which lets yours your finger .which allows the user to interacts with the computer by touching anything on the screen.
what they offer is allowing you and others to interact with the screen as it has sensors in the screens to let you move pictures,resize text loads of different interaction to the screen. Here are my Prototype that I did in XD when I was doing my app, it just shows how everything of my app is conected to the littlest thing like BACK buttons, small profile icons and text .I have designed the 2 Proto outcomes ,changing the layouts of them as you can see in the screen shoots .
he opening of the app will appear on a phone screen with a notification pop up since you will have to load the app while it is loading. From this you will have to “LOG IN” or “SIGN UP” to where you will be approached by a WELCOME BACK! or with a name from previous users. I have also included many Users as an examples of people with profiles for the app instead of one .
When it came down to picking the the website to design my app on at first I wanted to create my app in marvel but due to complications it wouldn’t work but soon as I addressed the matter ,I decided to go onto XD to design my app and was shocked by the results as it looks so much better that it did before. I have included the marvel app pics in my folder ad the XDbto show the comparison .

Responsive Design
Responsive design is a design system that aims towards web design which help the pages to render probably on many devises without glitches or system errors and screen sizes .
it allows the web/app to be flexible on screens, layouts,images and style sheet media.so when a new visitor is logging on to the web site the screen the layout adjust to the different screen they use ,like Computers,laptops,ipads,ipods,tablets and mobile phone .
Responsive design is needed in the app and web design as its a massive impacts on the view and over all effectiveness of the app/web .By this we can go on to using different sources of technology to see the web and it also helps as when you adjust you tablets and phones to move the page along side the motion you move you phone .

A front end designer who is involved creating the HTML,CSS,and the present and Java Script,which makes up the “Users Interface”.
A backend designer is a software engineer who works with the server behind the front end its the beginning of the server as codes are placed into the computer which we have done in FileZilla that helps up puts codes in to get words,chnage colours and add images .So compared to the font end ,the back end mainly focuses on the data modelling and database .where the front end concentrates on the languages, colours,text files, hyperlinks,design and many more .

A light CMS system can work without a database, which makes it a great alternative for small web projects.Pico is a flat file CMS, this means there is no administration backend and database to deal with.
What Is Responsive Web Design?-Responsive Web design is the approach that gives you the option weather that design and development should respond to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation.

Dynamic website-A website, or single web page, can be static or dynamic.
A static website contains information that does not change. It remains the same, or static, for every viewer of the site. d

About my App
I have chosen the Art and Design Gallery brief since I wanted to go in the other directing since I really like camping and wanted to turn my attention else where, so I picked the art gallery as I thought it would be a nice brief to do .
The reason be hind the app name “Dusk” is i want to create an app that allows the youth and many others to explore Art and Design Galleries since many spend the times on a night bored or roaming round the streets bored.By this the app allows people who are interested or in the area up to see art Galleries which opens late ,that why I have include the word “DUSK” as it means late .This will allow people on nights to go out locating different locations of galleries but it also lets you to explore more on news ,feeds information ,have your own account and chat online to your friends and fellow gallery friends act.
Throughout the app you can be active by having your own user account as you can uploads pictures, post pictures of galleries you have visited its basically like a food app you pick and see what shop is open but you can also have a interactive account too.
Experiments and development of app logo
Here I was experimenting with different background for my logo to see what would look best for my website background as I wanted a nice background drop .The background drop I will go for is the light brown with my logo as it look nice and presentable .

My chosen topic I have decided to go on to pick is the Art Gallery brief as I think this will be a good brief to as I can look into different backgrounds of Art and design, Cultures and exploring galleries .My app will be an app that allows to to view and choose different art galleries surround your area which you can visit .I will look into different art and design galleries and the app and websites to see how their layouts are placed .From this will look for inspiration and hopefully will try new approaches to my app/web .
Here I have decided to start some research looking at different styles and layouts of art galleries as I would like into include images to my website to show the different styles and cultures of art and design .
After looking into different pictures of art I will now look into gallery websites as I think this will help me with what I could do for my web,this type of research an help me on layout ,design and how my website could look like over all .I also will be looking to see on how each web is different from each one as some can provide different features then others .

what I like about Pinterest is how well their work is spread out evenly which make this pictures evenly spaced allowing the views to have a nice clear view .As do the other a nice amount of space included in the websites .

But the different in the apps is the designs and stye like twitter has a bird ,Facebook has the “f” and Instagram has a camera icon ,it only came up recently that all 3 have updates their serves and all still feel the same as layouts and styles that are rebranding the sites .
